About Us

A practical guide to Nesebar and the southern Black Sea coast

Nesebar.net is an independent site about Nesebar and the resorts around it — from the UNESCO-listed Old Town and Sunny Beach to Sveti Vlas, Ravda, Pomorie and Obzor. We publish practical guides (parking, beaches, transport, food, sights, the weather month by month) and show a few places to stay, listed directly by their owners with no middleman and no commission.

Our Story

The big international booking sites take 15–18% commission on every night — money that the guest ultimately pays through higher prices, or the owner loses through thinner margins. So we built something different: a place where the traveller talks directly to the owner, and the money stays in the local economy instead of going abroad.

Why Rent Direct

On Nesebar.net neither the guest nor the owner pays any commission — 0%, no fees at all. You contact the owner directly by phone or email and negotiate the price, long stays, early check-in or specific needs between yourselves. Reviews come from real guests, and communication is direct — no call centre in another country.

How we write the guides

The guides are prepared by the Nesebar.net editors with the help of AI tools. Since October 2026 every new article is written from official sources that are read while it is written (Nesebar municipality, transport operators, museums, state institutions). A separate, independent check then compares every claim — prices, times, rules, dates — with its source, and the article is published automatically only once it passes that check. The sources are listed at the end of each article. Older texts were written without this process; we are reviewing and updating them step by step and merging repeated topics into one fuller guide. Prices and timetables change every season, so we state when they were checked. If you find a mistake, write to us and we will correct it.

Photos and illustrations

The photos of places to stay are real: the owners upload them and we never replace them. The illustrations in the guides and on the home page (the sea, a cobbled lane, a plate of fish, a boat at sea and so on) and the cover of every article are generated with AI on our own computer, each one is checked before it is shown (for lettering, logos, recognisable people and errors), and each one is labelled "AI-generated illustration" or "AI illustration". Most of them set a mood and are not pictures of particular places. When the cover of an article shows a particular landmark (a church, the fortress walls, the windmill, the harbour or another place), it was drawn from freely licensed photos of that place on Wikimedia Commons, with no invented buildings or coastline, and the photographers and the licence are named under it. We do not publish photos from other websites.

Corrections

If you find a mistake or outdated information (a price, opening hours, a timetable), write to info@nesebar.net or use the contact form. We fix factual errors as quickly as we can and update the article date.

For Owners

If you have a property to rent out, Nesebar.net gives you full control: your prices, your calendar, your rules, a direct line to guests, and none of the huge commissions. We offer a free earnings-estimate tool, calendar sync with other platforms, and a convenient management dashboard.
