Tips for Active Visitors
- Best time to exercise: Before 9:00 AM or after 18:00. Midday is too hot in summer.
- Hydration: Carry water. Public fountains are available but not everywhere.
- Sun protection: Even early morning sun is strong. Wear a cap and sunscreen.
- Traffic: Be careful on roads outside dedicated bike paths. Bulgarian drivers don't always expect cyclists.
- Surface: Old Nesebar's cobblestones are not suitable for road bikes. Use a mountain or hybrid bike.
- Shoes: For running, trail shoes are better than road shoes on the mixed surfaces around Nesebar.
